Full Time Business & Administration Support Apprentice

This new opportunity is for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who can work well under pressure and blend into a team environment.

The job role will mainly involve

  • Data processing of client and financial records

  • Regular use of telephone systems for liaison with clients

  • External agencies but will also cover most aspect of office administration

As many tasks involve keyboard entry, accurate keyboard skills, common sense and a focused attitude are essential elements for the job role.

Part Time Payroll and Bookkeeping Assistant

On a day to day basis, you will assist with the Payroll procedure for a number of clients. This will include adding new clients to the system, running end to end Payroll, processing starters and leavers, submitting pension enrolments and processing SSP, SMP and SPP.


Ideally you should have experience using BrightPay to process payroll, and Payroll Bureau experience is desirable but not essential.


This role will also require someone who has experience in a bookkeeping position. It will involve processing invoices, working to a trial balance, cash book management and VAT returns. Experience with QuickBooks and Xero is essential.


Due to the size of the business, we are looking for individuals who are team players, and will fit in with the friendly and close knit atmosphere in the office.

Accounts Technician

The successful Accounts Technician will be either AAT qualified or at a similar level through their experience, and will have an excellent background working in an accountancy practice environment.

Key responsibilities in this varied role will include:

• Accounts preparation for a varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies 
• Personal and corporate tax returns
• VAT returns and client bookkeeping
• Advising clients on accounting issues and resolving queries

Applicants should have a strong background in accountancy practice, and preferably be fully AAT qualified. Strong communication skills and the ability to integrate into a friendly and collaborative team environment are essential.
