We will engage you as a client & you will be sent an engagement letter to sign which outlines the services, we will provide to you, the records you are required to keep & your grievance procedure.
Step 2:
We will request to have a copy of your ID & place of address to ensure we comply with money laundering regulations.
Step 3:
We will request authorisation to act as your new accountants to speak with HMRC on your behalf. We will need this authorisation code when it is received by you.
Step 4:
Once the engagement letter has been signed & returned & the identification has been approved, we can begin to act as your accountant.
The Clearance Process
Step 1:
Once you’ve been engaged as a client, we will write ‘clearance’ letter to your previous accountant informing them that we are now handling your financial affairs. We will also request copies of your latest accounts, tax returns & working papers.
Step 2:
Your previous accountant should then respond to the letter, with the acknowledgment that they know of no reason why we shouldn’t accept the engagement & they should include all the requested documents.
Step 3:
Once we’ve received clearance, we’ll have everything we need to prepare your accounts & tax returns from the records we have for you.
